If you need barcode labels for shipping, inventory control, healthcare, or other environments, why go to the trouble and expense of purchasing and operating a barcode printer yourself? ITS can print labels to your exact specifications, offering unparalleled convenience and affordability.
Give us a call at 888-768-5946 for a free price quote. Your account representative will get an idea of what you're looking for and provide input tailored to suit your needs. Here are some of the information that we will need to gather:
- What size (length and width) labels do you need?
- How many labels do you need?
- Do you need labels on a roll or folded?
- How long do the labels need to last? "Thermal transfer" labels last for the long-term, while "direct thermal" labels are temporary but can save you money.
- What do you need printed on the labels? Just a barcode, or additional text? Will you provide a logo or other graphics to be included on the label? (Don't forget — we'll need to leave enough room for the barcode to be printed large enough for your scanner to read.) Will each label's barcode have the same number, will they have sequential numbers, or will you provide a list of numbers available?
- Will the labels be used in any special environment? In most environments, standard paper labels work great. If you need labels that will stand up to heavy-duty wear and tear, excessive heat, exposure to chemicals, or any other unique situation, we can consider synthetic materials or lamination for the labels.
- Do you need a special adhesive? Standard barcode labels use permanent adhesive, which holds securely to flat surfaces such as cardboard. Harsh environments may require special extra aggressive adhesive. On the other hand, we can also provide labels with removable adhesive.
- Do you need colored labels? In addition to standard white, we offer the full palette of colored labels.
- Do you need a special code (the barcode "language")? For resale tags, UPC is the common choice. For many other applications, Code 39 is the standard. Most barcode scanners will read all of the common one-dimensional codes, including UPC and Code 39. If you need to pack a lot of information into a small area, ask us about printing two-dimensional codes (this may require a special scanner to read).
Whether you're just getting started with barcode labeling or you've been working with barcodes for years, we'll be glad to answer any questions that come up. Call 888-768-5946 to place an order or discuss your specific label needs with one of our barcode experts.
